I bought this with an Audigy 2 Gamer and the best game out there (FarCry) and the price is excellent. I just started using these and I will admit they aren't the higest power rated speakers but for a directional 7.1 gaming rig and personal surround system the price is impossible to beat.
Little tweak: if you want to get a good music experience, change the front two speakers to bookshelf speakers. For movie, I don't see any difference even when I turn on 7 speakers setting for powerdvd. Overall, the sound is very powerful (who needs more than 100watts for computer speakers?), and 7 point sourcing in gmaes works very good especially considering its price. The bass is pretty good, though it's not as puchy as home audio sytem. Those speakers do produce high frequency sound, but the mid range somehow got weaker, so it lacks in warmth which FPS1800 had. Good for the price I recently upgraded from FPS1800, expecting a lot from two way speakers and 7 point.
